Darkwood beach is located just south of the Jolly Beach and Jolly Harbour area on the south west coast of Antigua. Crystal blue water, fine white sand and relatively quite during the day, makes Darkwood Beach a good choice to chill out. Behind the beach there are swampy salt ponds with many varieties of birds and a hilly backdrop. It is one of the longest beaches on the island; however, there is limited shade and facilities.
