Amaryllis - Amaryllidaceae

Amaryllis - Caribbean Flowers and Trees Photo Collection. Amaryllis is the common name for members of the Amaryllidaceae family of perennial plants. Amaryllis have flat narrow leaves with flowers borne on leafless stalks, similar to Lilies. Amaryllis are found in the Caribbean islands, most of tropics and subtropics. Many plants of the Amaryllis family are mistakenly referred to as lilies.
