Young island is only 35 acres and this rocky cay was one of the very first exclusive Caribbean resort hotels, established in the 1970's.
The island resembles a tropical garden with lush planting, fruit trees and flowers everywhere to be seen among the cottages, villas and thatched buildings.
Spectacular scenery, great food and service complete the scene.
A local legend says that Young island was the home of a Carib Indian chief and the chief traded the island for a black stallion.
