The white sandy beach in Deadman's Bay on Peter
|
This wonderful tropical paradise covers some 1,800 acres and the entire island is a private resort with five white sandy beaches and twenty secluded coves. Peter Island was first established as a resort in the late sixties and Peter has recently undergone extensive renovations. |
Peter Island offers high standards of style and accommodation, as you would expect from one of the World's upmarket resorts. Peter has luxury beach front rooms and private villas to match the inspired cuisine. |

Peter Island has an interesting folklore history where the famous pirate Blackbeard supposedly abandoned some of his crew to their death on Dead Chest Island. The men were washed up in Deadman's Bay which is now the main resort beach. The neighbouring Norman Island was the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island". |
